The National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network features more than 250 nonprofit youth development organizations that offer free or low-cost tennis and education programming to over 150,000 under-resourced youth each year.
THE MISSION OF THE USTA FOUNDATION IS TO BRING TENNIS AND EDUCATION TOGETHER TO CHANGE LIVES
USTA Foundation uses the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life. To that end, we support programs nationwide that leverage tennis and education to help those in need, primarily through the National Junior Tennis & Learning
(NJTL) network. The NJTL network features more than 250 chapters that reach over 150,000 youth on an annual basis, providing free or low-cost tennis and education programming to the 50 largest markets in the U.S. – nurturing future leaders and enabling kids in need to succeed on the court, in the classroom and in life.
H3-Sports has an NJTL serving in downtown Orlando at the Rock Lake Neighborhood Center. We provide after school tennis programs and summer tennis camps to these elementary aged children free of charge. This program is 100% funded by private donors with the support of the USTA foundation. Each student attends their academic tutoring session either before or after their tennis practices.

Our 21st CCLC programs works with students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Certified Florida Teachers work with a specific grade level and conduct hands-on, project based learning activities with a focus on math, reading and science skills. While a majority of the activities conducted complement what our students are learning during the day at school, our teachers also work to fill in any gaps in foundational skills that students should have learned in previous years to ensure they’re improving in all academic areas. By providing this academic support, our main goals are to increase student grades and test scores each year.
